Chris Grimes is director, founder member and regular performer with the Bristol-based
and highly acclaimed Comedy Improvisation Company INSTANT WIT
http://www.instantwit.co.uk
INSTANT WITINSTANT WIT was formed originally around 8 years ago with co-founders including Julia Davis & Rob Brydon of “Nighty Night”, “Human Remains”, “Marion & Geoff” & "The Keith Barrett Show" fame.

The company has since evolved under Chris's co-direction into a highly acclaimed Creative Development & Corporate Entertainment Company, called BARKING PRODUCTIONS.

A lot of my energies over the last 8 years have gone in to firmly establishing the Company and its reputation.

INSTANT WIT continue to perform regularly at venues all over the West Country including the Bristol Old Vic, The Tobacco Factory (Bristol), the Cheltenham Everyman and The Bath Theatre Royal, as well as having firmly establishing ourselves as the most popular Comedy Act on several Rural Touring Schemes.

In addition the INSTANT WIT show is regularly performed at Corporate Events as either "stand alone" Corporate Entertainment or as a compliment to the training programmes that the Company are delivering.

INSTANT WIT also operate an Education Programme under my direction. I am an experienced Drama Workshop Leader, having initially trained as a Drama Teacher at The Central School of Speech & Drama in London, before going on to Actor training at the Bristol Old Vic. I regularly deliver performance-related special skills workshops to Schools, Youth Theatres and Adult Education Groups on subjects such as Comedy Improvisation, Stage Fighting & Acting Technique. Click on "Education Programme" at the INSTANT WIT website for more information at www.instantwit.co.uk
